We survived the twisters. Couple of roofs got torn off but no Deaths.
Yeah I know we talked a while back about your cover. IF I find that I can make a decent one with the method I'm going to use, I will be documenting the process and you will be able to duplicated it. Once the patterns are created It should be a simple matter of transferriing them to the material, cutting it out and sewing it up. Uhmmm... at least that's what I'm thinkin... but as you know, I am just an...

Got home Sunday around 2 pm. Wind out of the south, 35 mile an hour wind Gusts, so no Splash. That's Okla. in April. Cold front coming in tonite and temps supposed to drop into the 70's and knock this wind down. I'm off again this Friday soooo.... Maybe I can sneak her in before Mother's day. Got the steering all redone, deck all prepped and hope to get the deck painted this week. My Grandson is really excited about getting to Drive PoPo's boat so I gotta get her in the water soon. Can't dissappoint HIM!!!!!!

QFT for Wood. It doesn't get any better than that for a grandfather. I highly recommend it full-time!

temps supposed to drop into the 70's

!!! It barely gets to 70's for us in Washington!!

i guess the only upside is bein an OKie you mother nature uses other methods of screwin with us humans, for us washingtonians its just rain, and heavy rain... at least on the West side

cant wait for splash buddy!

I'm feeling a bit "Pansi-fied"!!!! However, with a 50 year old, untested motor I really don't want to get out in a choppy lake and go DITW!!! If my buddy will follow me out this Friday and a GALE is not blowing then I think I'm gunna go north to a cove a guy at work just told me about that he thinks the ramp is back open on. The lake has ben 15 ft below normal and a lot of the ramps closed, but he thinks this one might be open now since the lake is up 10 ft. I'm gunna go check it out tonite and see. If so then I'm crossin my fingers to get this thing DONE! If I was 20 yrs younger it would already BE DONE!!!!

just to bounce to the paint step post briefly (somewhere around page 11?). Will that roller or spray process work on aluminum pontoon panels, and do they need to be taken to bare metal? My panels on the boat I just bought are chalky and the graphics are in need of replacing as well.

I see no reason why not!! The prep will be the same for all aluminum.

Hey Wood, just got caught up on your thread. What a bummer on getting her wet but congrats on a job well done. I'm sure when you get on the water she's gonna turn some heads!
