As Judge said, All is well. I just got back to the office around Noon today. Had one of those calls @ 1:00 am Sunday night, that called me to Texas. All I can say is, Family always takes precedence! All is as good as can be. No Deaths, but close. Thanks for all of your concern and well wishes. Needless to say there was no Splash soo.... We'll see what the weather man can conjure up for this weekend.

Thanks again

Wood

Hope all continues to be well, improves to best expectations in Texas, and glad you had safe travels. Good thoughts headed your way for you & your family.

I think an official iBoat's Mulligan/'sick' day is in order to fully recuperate from your travels & follow previously administered doctor's/Epstein's mother's orders for a mid-week Spl......

Yeah, much harder to do then to suggest:facepalm: But I'm just saying: 'Your earning the best splash EVER!'

May mother nature smile upon your efforts w/ copious amounts of sunshine & a gentle breeze........

+ 10 (or so) on the above... Hobbies suddenly become very unimportant when family issues re-frame your perspective. Splash can wait... Take care of your family...

Very best,

Sorry to hear about your family. Glad to hear all is well with you. Hope your family is doing well and my prays or with you and the family.
You had us all a little worried there for a while. I thought you may be having so much fun you couldn't come home and tell anyone. (LOL)
Hope you get to splash this coming weekend. :D

No updates, Boat's ready but still having "LIFE" issues. I'm really hoping for next weekend. I think "LIFE" issues will all be squared away by then. Thanks for checkin in.

I'm about to give up!!!! Tornado's bouncing around like Pool Balls. Flash Flooding!!!! Just crazy stuff. I guess I have to realize that April in Okla is Twister Time!!! Count my blessings that they are in open country and not tearing up People or Property. Splash Time will come. There was a good thing that came from the delay. I was under the bow and discovered the steering cables were not quite wrapped properly so I am in the process of re-doing them to ensure they are correct. Could have been a bad thing if the cable would have crawled off the steering hub!!!! Thinking about starting to lay out some paper patterns for the custom cover and also firing up the sewing machine to start on the Bimini. Just hard to get motivated when I want to get her wet!!!! Gotta do something though. I see all the rest of you guys making great progress with your projects. Makes me feel like a bum.

I hope the tornadoes steer clear of everyone down your way. I know 2 weeks ago Kansas got tore up pretty bad. I stood outside where we had our wedding reception on the 14th right before midnite and could see a funnel cloud forming. We were fortunate but that wasn't the case for everyone. Hope all is well....

Wood glad to hear the family situation is going well.

You seem to be having one heck of a time getting her wet. You may have found part of that reason....

As you said, at least they are in a non-populated area and staying away from people and property....

Keep safe. you will get there.

I think we are all rooting for you to get her wet

Glad you found the cable problem. I had a steering cable pop loose one time @ WOT and it ain't fun. The little bracket that held the rear corner spring popped out of the fiberglass, having been only fastened on by Glastron with two tiny screws. Scared the bejezus out of me and I was just a kid at the time. Luckily no damage and everything managed to stay in the boat, including me.

When you do get to your cover, I'll be curious to see how it goes. I know with your skills it will turn out great & fit perfect. I'm having a helluva time right now getting a semi-custom cover that fits & have a thread in the Boat Topics section.

Hope those twisters avoid you, that's some serious & nasty stuff.
