Wellsir, that stinks. That's the way it goes sometimes, but glad you didn't chance it, I'm sure it won't be too long before we'll see some pics/video from you. What a disappointment, esp. for YOU! Give it another shot when you can, at least you know you're ready now.

When I was a kid, we lived 15 minutes form our lake spot & that would happen often, a perfect day at home and a bona fide gale at the lake.

Got up this morning, Steering went in without a hitch...Well not much of one. But I did get it in. Hit the starter...And she fired on the first hit. Ran her for 5 minutes...Good to go. put the seats back in, hooked her up and told the wife to get in the truck. Lake is 35 miles North my house. We headed north and the farther we went I started noticing the trees moving. Closer I got to the lake the MORE they were moving. When I turned west to go 5 miles to the Lake, I KNEW I was in trouble. Trailer was moving on me and pushing the truck too. When I arrived at the ramp everyone was pulling their boats out, white caps were BIG and all the people were talking about how rough it was out there. I was tempted, but... Did NOT SPLASH! When I suggested Diving the 45 miles to the next lake, the Wife made it quite clear that she was NOT interested. It's amazing how leaving the city and going out in the country the WIND can be Sooooo different. Needless to say, right now I am...

Guys, I'd give all of you MONEY if I was Foolin!!!!!!! But I am NOT!!!!! When I got home I banished myself to my office and my wife has been VERY QUIET!!!! She KNOWS I'm about to Blow a Gasket!!!! If the wind dies down this week, I WILL be missing a day of work. I HAVE to get this done!!!!! It's been WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY to long. This is what dissapointment looks like

I think wood is slacking..I told him my lakes were clear but he chose not to drive the 5 hours and sleep on my pontoon benches down in the basement! Give a man an out and he doesn't take it! JK Mike, I am sorry to have heard the bad news, but we shall see it get wet soon enough!
