As you can see, I've got the motor ready for mounting, the weather is perfect but...Nobody is answering their phone and nobody showed up, so I finished the rear Bench Seat...
Whether its use for lounging around the campfire...

I haven't done it yet but the way it sits on the gunwales, I think I'm gunna make a bracket to attach there instead of on the floor.

It's 85 degrees. I COULD be there if...... Oh well, this IS the end of Spring Break and with this GREAT weather I'm sure they all have better things to do than to help and Old man put his motor on his boat. I'll get it done tomorrow after work for sure and then Next weekend is my 3 day weekend so NO MATTER WHAT, SHE WILL GET WET!!!!!!!!

Now this is the kind of picture that just makes me go "W_O_W"!!! AND oooh and ahhh....

Really lookin' great, but I bet you won't want to lounge by the campfire with that seat and get the bottom all muddy and take a chance of sparks landing on it! :p

Bummer about the lack of available muscle for the motor, wish I could help you out. That Evinrude looks like it just wants to jump over onto the transom.

use for lounging around the campfire...

That there's an idea, some snap type buckles to hold it to the floor. Then you could pop it out to sit on the beach and not have to carry any extra chairs. I like it!!!! :D

The seat looked great out of the boat but looks even better in. However my powers of observation only see three seats. Thought I saw you make to pyramids, did you spend all day admiring that fancy rear seat?

Al kidding aside what kind of seat is the captains chair? Maybe a link? I like the looks of it.

I have not put the other Captains seat in yet. To busy trying to get her wet. They are out of an Old Ranger bass Boat. Not sure of the vintage. I bought them 2 years ago on CL for $65 bucks for three of them and a trolling motor. They were dark Green and white so I used them to practice on to learn the upholstery skills needed to make the bench seat. I like em too. Very comfortable. Worked out perfect for the Flamingo.

Wow Wood.
The bench seat really makes her shine.
You will be turning heads at the lake as you go by.
Really nice.
Hope you get her wet next weekend. Will be watching and waiting.

Wood - You may be mature and you may be taking time to do a good job and you may be from Oklahoma, but one thing you aren't is a WET old slow Okie. Wish I was closer to lend a hand (the other is reserved for beverage) to help fix that one fault. Hope next weekend ends with a splash. :D

It may have been two years but the end result is a beautiful looking package. Those baby moons and the painted rims are just the icing on the cake and the seats just pull it all together. You did one fantastic job on that Flamingo and I know you will be turning heads .... not only at the lake but also on the road going to and from the lake. Outstanding job my friend.

Looks great all together! It'll look even better when it's in the water, trust me!!

Let's see- you're letting a little RAIN get in the way of putting your boat in the WATER??

Dirty as a Pig but back where she belongs. Trailer needs adjusting a bit to get the load set. To light on the tongue right now. I'll get the electrical done tomorrow evening and a water tank set up and see if I can get her fired up. I'll try and video that if I can. This weekend is supposed to be mid 80's and NO RAIN!!!!! Who know's The Flamingo might get WET!!!!!!

Congrats! Kick them tires, hitch that trailer & fire that motor at a recently refilled lake's boat ramp of your choosing!

Really looks great w/ the Lark on there again!!!!!!!!!!!

The MRS likes this one the most of all the 'finished' boats I've shown her around this joint. Like being at a fireworks show, all 'OOhhhs & AAhhhs' :D

Makes a boat nerd proud ta knows yas & the BF!
