That is great news about your mother. Sounds like she is in good spirits. It's always good to be at home. Prayers do work.
Hope you get your parts soon.

Hey wood, glad to hear your mom is doing better, send her my regards....she has to be a great lady to put up with you! I have a new project, need that like a hole in the head, lol! BBO and I are talking about meeting up in mid-September....hopefully you have her wet by then....I told BBO that I would swim to his camp site if I didn't have the tilt trim worked out by then, lol! We are going to watch the OU game...but he has offered to put on your game too, lol!

She WILL be wet by then, I guarantee it. I tore the trailer completely down today, an got the bottom half sanded and primed. Will flip her in the morning and finish priming and then shoot the first finish coat on the top side. I plan on hanging the motor on Tuesday evening and hooking everything up on Wed. and then splashing next weekend. I REALLY think this time it will happen.

I hope you get her wet, I'm ready to see her! I still think you should redo her paint scheme, Crimson and Cream would be a really good look for her! :D

Uhhhhhmmmmm, I really think you might need to reconsider you color choices considering my beloved Cowboys are Orange and Black. I was considering that for the Blue Flamingo but I did NOT want to float around the Lake on a PUMPKIN!!!!!!! I love my POKES but their colors are NOT counducive to water sports!!!!!! I did notice that Miss Morgan was NOT sporting the SOONER colors!!! I wonder why????? Hmmmmm!!!!

Well, I could'nt leave well enough alone, and a I tore the Gator Trailer down... Completely. Every Nut and Bolt, Light, I even took the very unique Gator made Winch totally apart. I guess I am officially crazy. I was going to try and put her in the water but I just could not stand to put her on that UGLY trailer so.... I decided to postpone another week and over this long weekend tear her down and "git er dun!" I got her all in primer so tomorrow the color goes back on and hopefully on Sunday the Re-Assembly and begin. Here's some boring pics.....

It would be a shame to use a rat trailer for toting that beautiful Flamingo, Wood. Git 'er done and git 'er wet. BTW - crazy is just a state of mind - LOL.

That's exactly how I looked at it and even though it's gunna cost me a week, in the long run I'm sure I''l be glad I did it.

after you get the boat done, its a lot harder to motivate yourself to work on the boat, instead of going to the lake! Now is the time to do it!

Ugh I have that same kind of trailer winch... The clamp bar on mine is broken so it can't lock. Does yours come with the removable handle for both gears?
