Well she's all dressed up in her Primer dress, ready for the Color Kote. Hopefully that will be in the morning. Look out Bikini Blue Here we Come!!!!!
NOTE: That Dark Gray Blotch is High Build primer, Had some deep scratches in that area and just to lazy to fix em. Hopin this will work, if not this will be a project for next year.

I'm all set up for in the Morning. I plan on getting up at Daybreak so the temp will be as low as possible. She is all wet sanded so all I will need to do is wipe her down with Acetone and Shoot her. If all goes as Planned I'll post pics of Coat #1 in the morning. Planning on 3 coats. I changed my mind on the paint and decided to go with Rustoleum's Harbor Blue, with the Valspar Hardener. I like the shade a little better. Closer match to my vinyl color.

That's too hot for me. I found it quite peaceful early in the morning with the birds keeping me company, but I guess a roller's a little quieter than a sprayer! Get up with the sun, hope it stays cool long enough to get the job done.

I was thwarted at every turn today. First the car trouble, then to HD, where they didn't have what I needed for what I'd hoped to work on. Finally gave up & mowed the lawn, then fireworks tonight!

Looking sharp there Wood, and I like the blue flamingo a lot better than a pink one anyway.

OK, looks great. I can see that shine already, wait til you get the other coats on. Seems to me this was a very popular color for boats when I was a kid.

I thought all flamingos were supposed to be pink! I guess not though.

Any bug/bird/flying fuzz issues? You're painting outdoors, right?

Nice work Wood! That looks great! Maybe "blue flamingo" would be a good name for the boat?

She looks great.
Maybe you could mount that flamingo the wife got you right on the bow, like a hood orderment. That would be cool.
