Actually w/ the layout of your boat, I'd think carpet would be real nice too, now that Jas mentions it....

What's the seat &/or upholstery plan? Might plan carpet or any deck covering w/ the rest of the interior. Making it all 'work-look' good together....

I agree. Thought the same thing when Jas mentioned it.

At this point I would like the new seats to look similar to the original seats. I like them because they are little different than anything I have seen & I think they fit the boat. Not sure on colors yet? Probably use the original aluminum seat bases because I think they fit the boat too. Really nothing else there as far as upholstery. I do think that the carpet on the floor would look nice & should hold up well considering that this boat wont get used a super lot. The boss already told me that the Sea Ray will still be her first choice

After I ordered my splashwell drain tubes from West Marine & they arrived, I am thinking that I ordered the wrong ones? Is it OK to use brass tubes on a tin boat??

Not really, the aluminum or plastic would be much better.

Still playing carpenter so progress is limited but I did manage to get a little more of the floor sealed & installed. The correct splashwell drain tubes arrived yesterday too!
Leaving for Cabo San Lucas this morning and did take an extra day off work when I get back that I plan on using to work on the boat... if I'm still functioning at that point in time??? See ya in a week or so.

Did get the rest of the floor sealed & installed when I got back in the country. Had some visitors yesterday so I took advantage of the extra man power to get the boat off the trailer. Hope to get the trailer taken apart & sandblasted this week?

Thanks.
I use very fine steel wool with liquid car wax to clean the chrome. Most of the chrome parts were in pretty good shape to begin with so it didnt take much.

Any thoughts on the trailer color guys? I'm leaning toward white or a shade of off white.

I'd say white with That GREEN Pin Stripe. Paint the Hubcaps/Rims Green Too!!!

If your trailer has solid rims I'd paint them white and put Baby Moon hubcaps on and either leave em chrome or paint em white and put white side walls on the tires. Here's a pic of my trailer Wheel

Looks good Wood!
Maybe mint green wheels on mine with baby moons & the mint green pinstripe on the trailer.

Still here but no progress to report at the moment. Carpentry projects wont give me a break. Feels like a 2nd full time job lately. Starting on a big shop in about a month so progress on the boat will be limited.
The trailer has some bent pieces parts that need to be fixed before I can blast & paint. Trying to find time to get that done.

Not sure what I am going to do with the original trailer so I bought this one so I could haul it to a mud puddle if I ever get it ready. Also hung the Merc to make sure it fit.
