Sounds like a good plan then ..Now just gotta get it ready !
‘Taking a minute during the UF/LSU game . Right now down by a TD .:grumpy:
Sorry Arch I just saw your score for the day ..Bummer ...
Got up early and took a ride down past Micky a bit to another member’s house buxmj ..
Hooked me up with a 1958 original Tee Nee trailer ..
It,s taken apart and ready for restoration but everything is there other than a pair of shocks ,chrome hubcaps , and I think one center rail roller .. This trailer is way more stout than the trailer that came with the WM ...
Very cool to have this to complete the whole package ..

Nice that someone saved you the work of having to take it apart! Should be a great project.

From what we can tell the wheel is not original .. It’s a big pulley added on for
some reason .. :noidea:
Rem, it was nice that it’s all disassembled. Everything fit in the back of the truck but we had to go over how everything went together in his garage or I’d be seriously scratching my head on the re-assemble .
Fenders are in great shape other than a couple minor tears on the edge and mounting hole ..
And needs a mounting tab welded on the end of spring support bracket...

Scott if you were closer I would take you up on the offer !
I do have a welder and my son in law is pretty good at welding ..
I have found and ordered the replacement shocks and a set of step pads ...
Now on the search for the chrome moon hub caps ...;)

There was a source for the baby moon hubcaps on Fiberglassics. Not sure if it’s still there

Cool trailer Sam! Should go nicely with the boat! Yeah Saturday was pretty ugly! Wood's team didn't fair any better, bad football day in OK! Oh well it happens!

Hi Sam! Great to meet you in person and like I said I am so excited that the Tee Nee got in the hands of someone who will restore it and put it with a great boat! I am glad I got all the small parts down from the attic the night before, some of the parts had me confused! For all of you who are interested in the story, I will try not to make it too long. I bought a '58 Cruisers Inc almost 6 years ago up in Georgia and I saw the trailer and knew if the boat was trash I could do something with the Tee Nee. Well about a year and a half ago I finally realized the boat was destined for the burn pile and I found my '65 Lyn Craft Seabreeze . After I restored my '65 tilt trailer I decided I need to spend my time and money on the glass boat so I could get on the water possibly before the end of this decade, lol. I was thinking of restoring the Tee Nee myself but it would be another 2 years until I could touch it, just happened to have spoken to Sam about Seacast for my Seabreeze and then saw his WM thread and asked if he might be interested and glad I brought it up. I will be jealous when you finish it Sam but am so glad it is in your hands now.

Good Luck!
Buck.

Oh and sorry about football on Sunday. I know now you are a Jaguar fan but my Chiefs played well, hope they can keep going.

Thanks for stopping by Buck ! Yeah KC gave us a sound beating for the most part ..
Looking forward to painting and putting the Tee Née back together .. The shocks arrived and it looks like the length should work out just fine .. The Studebaker brake/clutch pedal / Tee Nee step pads should be showing up soon !
‘Still have plenty of sanding on the boat to do though ..

My Studebaker brake/clutch pedal/ step pad came in the other day . Amazing how close the match is for it . :)
Not many left out there .. Headed out of town for a few days so no boat work until the weekend ..

Line lines everywhere lines ...
other than the scenery it’s breaking
my mind ...
Go here then go there just to stand in line ...

Sorry guys .
Killing time
standing in line ...
Song keeps going through my head
working on another verse ...

Vacation is over time to get back to it ..
Having trouble uploading pics for some reason ..
Looking at the outside of the transom as soon as I get some pics up I need some opinions ..
Just really rough looking and not sure if I can leave it unstained or if even staining it would look good .
Thinking about painting it .idk...
‘Now a Woody ? Can the OTF formula be tinted with stain ?
I have my reservations about how well the veneer will clean up on the inside to leave it natural ..
From what I have seen there are basically 2 types of wood bleach ..The oxolic acid and I have seen a 2 part type .
Anyone have any experience with the 2 part stuff ? Without looking it up the name is escaping me at the moment ..
