Well I should have at least cleaned the windshield :p Actually that's another thing I'm happy about. My seat height with regards to seeing out the windshield is perfect. Glad I got the pedestals I did.

Congrats to EZ and family. Everything looks great. Except for three things.:D
1. The motor needs to be soda blasted and repainted and re decal-ed.
2. Teach the 1st mate to coil the mooring ropes properly in their place.
3. not really pertaining to the resto and splash. But I kept trying and or wanting to slide that ice chest over into the corner. I was waiting for it to dump.
But seriously Bro great job. Now I can't wait till I get to this point in my resto.

The motor is ugly because I didn't want to jinx it by painting it up till it was proven.

Had a great day on the boat yesterday. The motor definitely needs a tune up as it went back to the stalling going into gear thing but it was usable. I haven't even changed the plugs in it so it's reasonable to assume it could use a little maintenance. Here are some outside pictures of the semi-final product

ez do you have the type of engine control that you have to go to the nuetral postion for it to pop in then forward for gear? if so (and you probably are already aware of this) there is a long set screw that is on the left of the carbs that adjust the idle spot. mine had backed out and was alright when the engine was cool but was a problem at temp.

Very nice. You have her looking really good. I am wondering about the top side cushions that are present on the pics of my SS that are not on yours. I see the holes that are slotted for it on the sides and the bow. Do you intend to go back with them or just leave it as a painted surface???

I can't be of much help on the motor.

Great Job:cool:

Combing pads, bow seat backrests, and removeable cushions are planned future additions brad. None of it was present when I got the boat.

I now know what they are called. I was fortunate enough to have all those things in place when i bought mine. I have discovered that they used treated wood in those pads. That may be where my corrosion in the bottom came from. I hit all of those spots with Gluvit.

The boat still looks great. Good job in getting her in the water so fast.
