The trailer came out very nice. Like I have said many times before it doesn't look like the same trailer you started with. The before and after pictures prove my point.

I think you are right on the stripes...but I want to get Miss Morgan on there...once she is on there....there will be a lot of red! And I'm planning on red fenders, need to get back to working on those!

Tinker, the color wasn't too big of a deal....I have had worse when it comes to paint....I did say a few ...um words! I'm just glad I had enough silver to top coat it and fix the issue. That stuff is like liquid gold!

Boat's almost rid of the snow. Just a little still in the bow, and under the back seat area. Weather man says we'll get more Tuesday, they're talking about another perfect cold air - moist air collision here.

Working my butt off on the new job. Barely managing to keep up with the threads.

We did...During the first part of the year before the family came out, I lived up in Yukon in a house with a teamate, then we got an apt up off Memorial by quail creek mall. Nice up there.

I'm with ya on the boat..starting to warm up bit by bit down here and I'm just about done as well.

I wish I was secretly working on the trailer!

I'm hoping I go out there one day and it's gone, or it's magically finished

I did order my paint today and I talked to a local small engine mechanic who works out of his garage about my motor. He is prob going to go over the engine, do the pressure/cylinder(?) tests on it, update the wiring and gas lines for me.

Hope you get yours on the trailer soon!

Thanks for the comments guys! I did order the carpet today....that was an expensive item! But I got enough for the seat bases, floor, trailer steps and bunks. I also picked up some misc. hardware and some supplies to wire the lights. I'm going to start on that tonight.

Mick, glad to hear you found someone to tinker with your motor! Let us know what the compression is. Is it a 4 cylinder? I can't remember if you said.

I made some progress on fitting out the trailer. I installed most of the wire management system....looks pretty messy huh ?

If you look close you can see little aluminum rivet heads. I found some 1/8" plastic clamps I riveted to the underside. I had to use a rivet backing washer, but once I figured out the rivet length it went smoothly. Here is a shot where the wire goes through the frame rail to the marker lamps. I still need to install the clamp on the left side, you can see the rivet where it goes. The grommets worked out pretty slick too.

Here is a shot from the opposite side.

Here is a shot of the back side of the tail light mount.

Here is where the wires come together at the tounge. I think I will look for a small piece of black tubing to go around the wires....it looks a little unfinished. I'm sure I can live with it....but I thought that might be a nice touch if I can find something.

I also need to lenghten the ground wire, naturally its 1' too short!

Looks great, I really like those little grommets too. It looks very clean.
You might try some of that heat shrink tube to finish off the end.

Thanks guys, I have pondered both of those ideas...also duct tape, give it that "kustom okie" look . I think this will be one of those times when I walk around Ace and H.D. looking for some that has nothing to do with wiring to use! I love it when the sales people ask if they can help and I say, "no thanks I have no idea what I'm looking for till I find it"! That always gets some interesting looks!

Thanks for the comment on the shop Thrill. I love it but I would change a lot if I could start over. Why is it never big enough??? No mater how big you make it its never big enough! Last night I was thinking how I can't wait to get the paint booth down and out of the way as I was squeezing between it and the table saw!

Hey Arch, trailer is looking killer. On the wire issue have you thought about wire loom. I know they sell it at Home Depot in the electrical section.
