    water pump HELP

    Rev Limiter or slipping clutch>>

    well guys and gals today is a new problem.. I put a friend in the front of the boat. we going along at about 4500rpm when the motor starts that bucking. All of the sudden the tack goes to 6240 rpm's??? I let off the gas and it took about 10-15 second for it to settle down. this is a new thing...

    not sure what causing my bucking at about 56-58 rpm wot. I'm not sure bucking is motor term?? I bought my tohatsu 9.8a last fall 2013 and have many hours on it around 30-35 ? not all at wot, and I run it dry each day at mostly 1000-2000rpm's?? no one ever told me how many rpm's to run it dry...

    Today my battery and charger both went dead??Now trying to Pull start this Dog was almost impossible?? never did get it started?? Why this is a new motor . I'll grant you that I run the day lights out of this Dog. All the more reason it should start with out my electric starter??? COMMENTS

    higher octane gas for my 9.8 tohatsu comments welcomed

    can some one tell if going from 87 Octane to 93 will get better profromance. I just tryed that and my 9.8 2013 Tohatsu run really smooth and nice. Any comment welcome
