    Has anyone had any experiance with Sierra manifolds for mercruiser. I am replacing my 1 piece manifolds and I have found Sierra and GSM to be the least expensive. Any info on what and where I can find the best deal would be appreciated.

    water shutter on y pipe

    I have made several post regarding my one piece manifold , and slight water in oil, I am considering replaceing the manifolds, I notice on both sides of the y the water shutter is missing. Could I be drawing water back up thru the manifolds with this missing component.

    heat test for one piece manifolds

    I have filled my manifolds with water and heated them with a torch, no signs of water leaking into exhaust ports. Is the an effective test are am I missing something?

    Mercrisier one piece manifold

    does anyone have any suggestions on how to block off one piece manifolds to check for leaks? Does anyone know why mercrusier discontinued one piece manifolds? I am have a slight amount of water getting in the oil, and I need to confirm the manifolds are not the problem.
