    My sportwin is leaking fuel from the shift shaft any ideas ,could it be a fuel pump diaphram, no fuel is leaking anywhere under the cowling ,Im puzzled!

    Can I break into this lower unit and change the shift bushing O Ring without ant special tools and is there anything tricky i need to look for, I drained the oil today it was milky white and only about half of what i put in came out, I defininatly have a leaking issue....Thanks Jason

    Ran my motor yesterday after changing impeller and putting oil in lower unit, It was nearly empty, After I ran it a ton of oil is coming out of a little weep hole under the cavitation plate , Im guessing the top seal is gone on the lower unit, Am i looking in the right direction?

    What type of oil should I run on my sportwin? I Started it with Quicksilver because I already had some for my Merc.

    Im trying to find a piece for my motor, Where the tiller handle gear goes up to the carb linkage there is a piece broken and i cant throttle it up all the way, It looks like a plastic shear pin of some sort that fits in the two slots , i cant find anything or a breakdown on this,also need a fuel...

    I bought what i think is a 1963 10 HP Evinrude the numbers are as follows 10302E-EO3881, Would like to know is it a sportwin ETC. Also what mixture shoud I Run...Your help would be appreciated....Thanks Jason
