    @topgun3690 whats the best way to get to the tilt cylinder bottom hydraulic line? its right at the bottom on the cylinder and in a bad spot ive been using a small wrench as best as i can

    JAE 152053568476 it was leaking down with the old tilt and trim as well I just had to replace it because i broke the valve body trying to remove it

    Also I just replaced the tilt and trim pump completely so check valve should be new I also replaced the seals in the trim unit and the bottom so im thinking the main cylinder but I’ll go along with the test to confirm

    I replaced the main cylinder on the bottom because it was leaking, bad, got it fixed no leaks from there. There are no visible leaks anywhere. is there any test to see why its leaking down. It will stay up at random times and random positions then if i touch it at all it will start dropping...

    J Any type of rtv or high heat? And just around the cylinders? No need to rtv the outside edge of the head cover right?

    Ahh ok now what’s the purpose of the cover on the outside of the head? Doesn't looks like water or anything goes in it

    Only question I got now is someone made a fitting that sprays water out the side should I plug it off or leave it? Comes out the top of the head and let’s water out through the side of the outboard case

    Honestly there at 105 each cylinder besides the one with the blown gasket and was running fine so I’ll probably put some marvel mystrol oil in it until parts get here and put in back togeather

    5 broke but manage to get them all out without messing up too much

    Well here’s the verdict after hours of prying breaking blots and welding and heating I got the head off cylinder 3 looks good but the head gasket dosnt had a little blow out Now I can either put piston rings as well or just put it back togeather and let it ride
