My question is kind of stupid but here it goes: Can the Power trim motor lay sideways or does it have to be up-right? I can find...

    Engine cutt-off switch

Re: Engine cutt-off switch So here is what I got. I only see one cable that leads to the egnition in the front of the controlls. I would asume that I would need to install the kill switch inline with that cable. The only issue I see here is where to mount the kill switch. I dont think I should...

    Engine cutt-off switch

It took me about a year to realize that my throttle controls dont have a kill switch installed. What would be the easiest way of adding that in case of an emergency? Thanks Zipp

How do you track hours on your outboard?

What would be the easiest way of tracking how many hours I put on my outboard? Mine is a 73 mercury so I really cant hook it up to my Lawrence HDS 7 to monitor the outboard performance. Does it also count when the outboard is on in idle? Thanks Zipp

Re: Will this oxidized painted aluminum hull clean up? I used this product to clean up the yellow water stains on my aluminum hull. As for buffing it I would say you can use any automotive product, but Im sure someone here will be able to tell you what exactly to use :)

    OUtboard Question

Hello... When you get ready to store your boat for winter is it necessary to run the outboard on ear muffs once a month? I store mine in the Garage so that wouldn't be an issue but I'd rather not disturb the neighborhood with my older 2-stroke if I don’t have to. Thanks Zipp

    Trailer issues

Re: Trailer issues ok I am over thinking this by a lot. This time I did it right. This is how it looks now. Still not 100% leveled but looks to me better then it was before. If it needs to be more up I could probably find some 1/4" thick steel that I could bolt on an extension about 2" if need...
