Alpha 1 Water Leak into Boat, from Exhaust Ports? (videos)

Probably have an exhaust leak and trim line manifold gasket leak Both easily fixable but the exhaust requires pulling the motor. At that point it'll be wise to repair the most likely rotten transom

At this point, based on information given your best option is to use a diagnostic tool to check the fault history on the ecm. Mercruiser 5.0 crankshaft front oil seal replacement

Most boats I've seen don't have near enough room in front of the engine to get a proper tool to successfully pull/install the seal. Being most likely a plastic timing cover I would be suspect of damaging the cover. Seeing as how it's highly recommended to replace it when it's removed I would...

Engine cooling water in tube bigger than gimbal housng tube

It's a bushing, looks much like one for the trim ram ends but isn't tapered. Really no need for the oem part, one could be fashioned easily with the right material. Just need to ensure the fit is sound so it stays in place

Engine cooling water in tube bigger than gimbal housng tube

The tube is oem/factory Some alphas had a bushing that makes up for the difference in ID between the hose and barb. OP needs to look for it in the bilge or elsewhere. Can't imagine it'd be obviously missed when the hose was removed

Engine cooling water in tube bigger than gimbal housng tube

There's a bushing that goes on the through transom barb so the larger hose doesn't squeeze down to fit on the barb itself Newer alpha packages have a specific hose that has a smaller ID at the barb fitting

    Problem with a Mercruiser 5.7 V8 LX

Third step from the top suggests checking voltage, in your case it's not 0 volts but low voltage. Treat it the same as 0 volts and inspect wiring harness, instruments and wiring, battery and connections, etc... My WAG is your issue is a weak battery/poor connections coupled with a possible...
