    The bottom was done cheap, just spray it and walk away. The color looked decent on a spot that I sanded and buffed. Just waitint on the guy to get here with the trailer now.

    I would use a flat piece of glass for the backer, then fill the holes with some putty and glass mixed. Scuff it well, scuff what you can of the back of the panel, epoxy in place.

    This is what I'm thinking. Make a backer like the yellow square, push it through the large hole and maneuver it into place. Use some epoxy to glue it, and screw at the blue dots to pull it tight while it cures. A screw or two in the middle will give you something to hold while you get it in...

    I have to agree with the others. It's all covered up anyway right? So I would just put a backer piece in and call it good. Other options are way more work for basically the same end result.

    Ground everything in prep for the floor, made and glassed in a center stringer for extra support. Apparently, the owner and his brother are both pretty big dudes. None of the original wood is sealed, top or bottom except where the glassed to the walls. How is this thing still together?

    That would be my guess too. I've seen some stuff like that where it wasn't rolled out well, but not just skipped over. Unless there was something else glassed over that spot before, and it was later removed without sealing back up.

    I can't see anything that looks like hull damage, but you're definitely in for a complete tear down. With the stringers that you can see in that condition and water logged foam, you can bet that the whole stringer system is going to be about as bad. So now you're in for stringers, floor, motor...

    Today's progress, made a mold, cut out the damage, ground and glassed the area. Today's mistake, I cut out the spot before I made the mold. Had to screw it back in and eyeball level to make the mold after. It worked out though. As usual, several forgotten picture opportunities.
