    In my opinion, plywood is best. Coosa is alright because it won't rot, but given its strength without glass, I wouldn't consider it (or nidacore) as structural materials.     Yeah, that was dumb. It's a boat, water WILL find a way to get in every bit of it. Add drainage. It would also be great, but probably impractical, to have access to every drain hole so you can clear any debris build up.

    Ok, I'm a bit late on updates, but here's the situation. The Sea Doo is gelled, but we can't get paint from any of our usual methods. So the boss is taking the chunk that I cut out to another place to try to get some. While I wait for that, I have another one with pretty much the same thing.

    In that Tige I did a little while ago, the panel to the batteries had a sticker that said to disconnect the batteries before charging or electrical damage could occur. So maybe there is some truth to what that mechanic was saying. I'm not an electrician though, way out of my league.

    How so? It doesn't take ignorance to not see something under the water and hit it. Sometimes, sure, like ramming into the lift too hard or just doing stupid stuff, but I would say most of it is just part of owning a boat.
