I have a 91 bayliner Capri 18.5’ with a four cylinder 3L in it. My leg is a cobra SX CT-1, 1.97ratio.
I’m entertaining the idea of a V6 vortec swap if this is doable ?
This is the first time doing this on a boat, so not sure what I’m getting into. Any help would be great !

I have a Volvo Penta SX-CT1 outdrive. The thrust plate on the port side came off. Can the new plates be installed by removing the lower leg...or is there more to it??
If the part was a week away and the sun was out...would you use your boat??

looking at getting a "pickle fork" style hull. been sitting for a long time... ( in the elements), i live in Canada, snow, rain and some heat,is this wort the effort? the glass has separated in areas.

1- i have a 14 ft fiberglass boat,(glass craft)
2- 50 hp envenrude with a 13 pitch prop. (runs 5000rpm)
3-with leg trimmed all the way down, it wont get on to plain? (it still has a high bow)
question is = 1- if you have to...
the question is... when i turn the engine over by hand using the flywheel, it feels like it is rubbing on the stator. is this normal? how do i correct this?

hi, i have a 1980 e50elcsr (50hp). what colour wires ( on the engine) should i use to hook my rpm gauge up to? and what is the best pick up points?
