1980-83 50 hp evinrude

hi all, this is my first post

what should the compression be on this engine?
whats the best way to check this.

pull plugs, screw in tester, turn over with key 4 to 5 rotations. record #, then do the other one. 100psi or above withing 10% or each other. i would like to see atleast 125 on both., although, guages differ, the reason the compression is not published. welcome to iboats.
