I was wondering how everyone is removing the outboard motor from the transom to the stand? The reason I ask is because I am trying to design a steel O/B Stand with something to help remove the O/B. I also am wondering if it is even worth the trouble. Please share your ideas.

I have a Chrysler 559H9L. It was given to me as a gift, so I don't know a whole lot about it. I believe it is a 1979. I don't have any documentation on it either. I was wondering if somebody knows the gas to oil raio? It does run but there is not much gas left in the tank and I have not put any in.
