There is no engine on the boat...looking!
Ah, ok. Thought it was already reinstalled and working. Saw the picture of fish and figured you took it out.

So any updates from the mechanic or still pending inspection?

SHSU...the boat was a charter out of Puerto Lobos, MX 25 ft center console with TWIN 250 Mercs...1st day was pretty windy with 3-5 ft swells, but Sunday we nailed them...had a blast...The 220V is a winter project. Going to start with the splashwell removal and transom replacement. WHile im there, Ill check the status of the floor from underneath the deck near the bilge. With a covered deck (thick pain, carpet, vinyl, etc) what s the best way to locate the rivet path to get then drilled out...any diagrams or landmarks?

No such luck. That would make it to ease. lol

Best bet is to pull up the carpet/vinyl and look for the rivet heads. You should see them along the edges and where it follows the stringers.

Don't you just love good suprises after finding not so good suprises? My shop is full of stuff I found in compartments that didn't get cleaned out before I drug the project home!Nets ,anchors, fire extinguishers, fishfinders, tackle, first aid kits, dead possums, squirrels and other deceased life forms.

Every last one, I almost miss that smell of old dirty gym socks and moldy cheese when wheeling it off.
