Rivet question? Looks like replacing the factory original carpet will be much easier if I remove the rod holder brackets etc....( factory carpet was installed under all these brackets then riveted) Any idea what length rivets these would take? Didnt see them mentioned in the "rivets sticky"

No way to cover all the various models with exacting information for each item attached to the boat. So I simplified this in the sticky and just gave a ball park for solids 2 AL layers 3/8" L and 3 layers 7/16" L which will accommodate all of the variations to include the never totally flush ribs.

Blinds add up in 100ths the thickness of the materials, pick the length that has a grip range above that end measurement for blinds.

Got around to building a stand for the Opti 200...needed to get it off the pallet and check k out the forklift damaged port lower cowling...geeze this think looks huge on a stand! Gotta get splashwell finished so we can get the engine mounted on the boat...one step closer to splashing it!!

Any sources or tips for repairing or replacing the vertical transom trims...mine have some corrosion...but sure how you would fabricate a 1-3/4" channel with an almost 90 deg bend???

I would bend a sheet of 5052 to the "c" shape and cut the ends to fit together then weld it up. I'm lucky enough to have that ability.
Bending a cap for the transom from one piece would be difficult if that is the thing you're referring.
Do you have any friends in a machine/fabrication/welding shop?

If not broken up the it should be fine to clean the transom cap pieces and reuse. You may have a challenge using the old cap or fabricating one since the transom skin overlay is flush with the top with no set back for the cap to be flush on the old skin.

I had to have one fabricated. The 90s require welding

Back in action after left knee replacement...looking for ideas. I pulled the center console into the garage to rehab, paint and updates. Need advice on getting it back into the boat. The engine is bolted in place, so its gotta go over the gunwales...???

You got an engine hoist? If not, a large tree should work to elevate it over the gunwales.
