Here is the Transom, we mounted the two oil tanks, trim pump, batteries, fuel lines, and organized all the wire and zipped tied them together

Here is a photo of my Y fitting for the oil that everyone seems to hate, works fine for me!

These are the LED lights we installed, they are red. There are seven of them along the inside of the boat, only thing im worried about are people kicking them?.not a good design on my part?

Now all of these little things would not have been done when it hit the water, now we have gotten lots of these items out of the way, which i think is better waiting a week to put her in. NOW GOD WILLING SATURDAY I WILL BE DROPPING HER IN SEE YOU THEN!

Just read the tread from start to finish, all I can say is wow. Looks great, seems that you went over your budget, but you got engines that you will be happy with. Hope all goes well on the maiden voyage. You will have of pride for the blood, sweat, and tears every time someone makes a comment on how nice Mission Impossible is. Again great job!

Waiting for the update. Hope everything goes well on your maiden voyage. I know the feeling, been der, done dat, but only on a boat a little over half the size of yours. Great accomplishment. Congrats!!!!!

Have a great day,

Rob.

Re: HUGE PROJECT!! 30' Scarab Sport overhual

Its too big a project,
you'll run out of time,
it'll cost 10 times what you think,
you'll never find engines for it........... blah blah blah.

Wheres all the naysayers now eh?:D

Re: HUGE PROJECT!! 30' Scarab Sport overhual

John I hope all went well because you and yours deserve it after that project that took determination and perserverence. The finish product is outstanding for that lack of a better word or phrase. And for all those who through up the nagativity early on this is what can be achieved when you set your mind to something and follow through. If it were me I would keep that boat the rest of my life as a reminder to myself and others this is what anyone can do when they set their mind to it. Congradulations John and all of those that stuck with you and helped on M.I.
