Re: 1983 26' Starcraft Sportfisherman 261V Rebuild

Hey, the next few days look really nice around here. So, this Sea Ray might go for just one last joy ride before "the green mile". :becky:

Don't forget the drain plug on the swan song joy ride.
We wouldn't want water getting to the stringers, transom or deck, now would we? :faint2:

Might want to ask EZ to look into a name change for your new favorite smiley: :becky: {it's Becky by the way } No reason to give the Admiral un-needed ammo....

Glad that Processing station sign came in handy, I figured you'd get some use out of it...

Congrats on having them come to you for processing. That's so much easier then hunting them down, getting them road ready & dragging them back........

For a long term project, there sure is a lot of activity going on over your way, in 2 different threads no less. Nice work all around..

:peep: must hide saw blades :spy: break all grinders :behindsofa: no sawsalls allowed :pirate: all glasser destruction will be punishable by a fish over the head :fish:

Oh ya and another thing JB seems to be an accomplice to this hainess act so he needs a stern talking to :yell:

Happy Thursday!!!!!

Ironic. I just saw a searay on craigslist in the Midland area and thought that would be worth looking at for Jason. Guess I was correct.

Oh boy a Sea Ray! Those really squeal when you put the banjo music on and come at them masked with a saw.

Better get that sucker winterized before too long, don't want any cold snaps to ruin the donor organs.

Course all that was fluff so far, here's what this boat was really dragged here for!

SEI replacement drive with a new prop, recent impeller, seals, bellows, bearing service...

And then under the hood...

Little rust here and there but looks good over all and runs awesome (the little I've seen anyway).

SCORE!!!

Really nice donor boat, looks to be a pretty good trailer as well and lots of nice parts.

I like looking at the motor, out/drive and the trailer but every time I look at the boat I get itchy :D Great find Jason, looking forward to the video of the test hop.

So it the SR a late 80's - 90ish model? I would think that should be about the price break for a good bottom feeding price anyway.

Nice find there Jason! Some really slick parts to pull off that glasser too.... windshield, grab handles, etc etc! Wonder what kind of gas tank that has in it!!!
