I am with Vancouver all the way to the end. My wife is with Montreal because of Price. If these two teams go all the way its going to be nuts in my house.

Kinda sad, we could be seeing the last game of Professional Hockey played in Phoenix in a couple days.....good to see Canada get one of their teams back though.....

I guess we will have to wait and see

Will these playoffs see the return of Crosby to the Pens? I'm trying to figure out why they are (purposefully?) keeping him out as long as they have......3+ months now?
Separately:
It's going to be interesting to see if the Canucks are going to shut out the Hawks...thats going to be a great, fast game. If anyone trys to call Canada during the game...you'll probably get the answering machine.

I don't think it's on purpose. I think the sports world is FINALLY coming to grips and recognizing how damaging concussions are. Look at Justin Morneau from the Twins. He was out from July 2010 until mid-spring training.

I think Crosby is getting close to being ready, but I think the Pens realize they are better off not having him for this season, but for the rest of his career vs having him for the end of the playoffs but ending his career. As much as he wants to play, and they want him to play, they are waiting till the medical profession gives clearance.

I think the threat of him coming back gives teams something else to think about, and that is why he is skating with the team in practice. I don't look for him to play, though.

They have played decently without Malkin or Crosby, the team has its own chemistry, I am not sure bringing Crosby back after 3+ months would be good for the team anyway. They have proven they can win without him ... they will be that much better with him next season!

Down here in the south I get the game on two channels on directv,
either versus or comcast sports net-Chicago.

Well...at least their playing at home and it did snow there yesterday. :facepalm:
