33 years in construction .. It used to be fun years ago ... Not so much anymore ... If I could pay my mortgage by selling snow cones on the beach I think I could make a career change ... ;)

Started my own residential HVAC company last September after 13 years of running the service department for the third largest Carrier dealer in my area. Talk about jumping off a cliff! At 43 I never would have taken on such a risky venture, but the Admiral supports me and having that makes all the difference in the world. Prior to that maintenance supervisor at a retirement facility, and Computer programmer in the US Air Force.

I'll be retired 10 years come July. Now they pay me to stay away....

Used to work for Seattle City Light for 36 years in metering. 26 years in charge of the meter laboratory. Wrote the specs for purchasing all the metering.

Also was on the steering committee for the Northwest Electric Meter School for 22 years being chairman several times.

I still miss the people and enjoyed the work. I also enjoy retirement. :thumb:
