Gulf of Mexico outside of Weeki-Wachee and Homosassa. Also use both rivers to run inland for the sightseeing. Used to live on Lemon Bay in Englewood and fished the Boca Grande flats and the peace river. Gotta love that Florida fishin
We can usually be found most weekends on the Harris Chain of lakes here in Lake County Florida. From Lake Harris you can get to a couple of other decent sized lakes.
We boat on the intercoastal just North of Wilmington, NC. Can always shoot out one of the inlets to the Atlantic. The Cape Fear river is only about 8 miles away too for some freshwater fishing. A great place to live and boat.
I boat on two small lakes, one 600 sq. acre, and the other 40k sq. acre. Going down to the gulf in a few weeks and I'm still contemplating taking my boat. I grew up in Michigan and would LOVE to go up to Lake MI with my boat. Ahhhh maybe some day
Conchas Lake here in New MExico up by Tucumcarri. Nice lake but the level has been going down drastically for three years. It's bad enough right now I am thinking of moving all my stuff, trailer, boat, and support equipment all of which I have stored up at the lake, to a different lake that they don't irrigate out of that is closer to Tucumcarri........it's about 30 miles from Conchas it is named Ute.
The St.joseph river around South Bend Indiana, one of 3 rivers in the world that flow north, comes down out of Meeechigan hooks through Indiana and dumps into Lake Meeechigan.
Good catfishing, tons of smallies and unfortunately home to a billion Gar.
