It wasn’t connected to anything I bought the motor from a guy I believe it was connected to the lower unit. I plugged it. Let it run for about 30 minutes. It seem to be doing fine.What is the other end connected to?
Salt away is a tee in the raw water line, back to a glorified windshield washer reservoir. Doesn't look like a salt away / neutra salt installation

It'd be best to abate the barb and hose and just plug the hole
