V-V-V for Victory!
Boats so nice cause they hull'd em' thrice!
B--ch slapping water since 1965. (Replace the year with one that makes sense)
Deep V's are for sissies.
If at first you don't succeed, Tri, Tri, again.
It doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you Tri.
The Tri-Sexuals
What? You only have one hull? How cute.
Don't knock it till you've Tri'd it.

I'm sure most of them are lame. That's what happens when Captain Morgan helps you post on forums at night...

Try a tri hull...Three times the fun.

My 1st boat was a trihull I had a 67 16 ft Winner/ 80hp Evinrude and I had a 74 Starcraft 17ft/ 85hp Johnson
2 things stick out about them
1. Stability
2. Pounding the crap out of your back in any kind of chop...........

I'm a newbie, but I wanna play too. How about a 75 Bayliner 16.5' Trihull?

Hey sure! Welcome! You met the requirements: you have a trihull and you posted a pic!

Great to have you! Your boat should have a little more room than mine! :) Are you currently using the boat or is this a future resto project?

Well it looks like I'm joining the club now. Just looked at a Tri hull, its a 18' not sure on make, its complete with a 115 Johnson, Looks solid, floor isn't spongy or anything, with a trailer as well. SWEETTTT Should pick it up tomorrow. I'll get some pics up then, I haven't seen one like it before, its not a bowrider, which I did want, but this was too good a deal to pass up. Its I think 1960's by the looks of it, curvy, very rounded windshield, and a real funky bow light.

If you need lots of good info on that old Rude, check out the OMC boats mailing list. Lots of knowledgeable people there. They've been much help with my Johnson Surfer resto.

Go to this site http://www.ultimate.com/omc-boats/

You'll find info there about OMC boats and the mailing list and how to join. (My boat is in the gallery for Johnson Surfers. Mines the last one.)

Re: Tri-Hull Club...Yes? No? Maybe?

Here is my new beast, needs a cleanup, took it home, got it fired up, then took it right to the lake for a test run, seemed to do ok, motor needs a tuneup I think, a couple times it died at idle. Can't believe how fast it gets up on plane, was faster then my parents boat. Here are some pics for ya.

Anybody know what kind of boat this is LOL LOL.

I wouldn't swear to it in a court of law, but from your pictures, it sort of looks like an Evinrude Sweet 16. Can you find any serial number plates, or capacity plates that may give you a hint? One of the other guys who knows old boats better than me will probably correct me. But it sort of looks like these:

Edit: I take that back. I just saw you location. What you have there is a Canadain model Johnson Deluxe.

Boy, I hope my Glastron planes that quickly! The profile of the boat reminds me of my dads old Ski doo.
