Maybe put the 3 inside the V.
Maybe put the 3 inside the V.
V-V-V for Victory!
Boats so nice cause they hull'd em' thrice!
B--ch slapping water since 1965. (Replace the year with one that makes sense)
Deep V's are for sissies.
If at first you don't succeed, Tri, Tri, again.
It doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you Tri.
The Tri-Sexuals
What? You only have one hull? How cute.
Don't knock it till you've Tri'd it.
I'm sure most of them are lame. That's what happens when Captain Morgan helps you post on forums at night...
I'm a newbie, but I wanna play too. How about a 75 Bayliner 16.5' Trihull?
If you need lots of good info on that old Rude, check out the OMC boats mailing list. Lots of knowledgeable people there. They've been much help with my Johnson Surfer resto.
thanks for the info there nitsuj, its much appreciated. where can i find that mailing list at? id like to find out more about the systems of the boat, its the first I/O that ive owned and its a totally different animal than what i cut my boating teeth on.
I wouldn't swear to it in a court of law, but from your pictures, it sort of looks like an Evinrude Sweet 16. Can you find any serial number plates, or capacity plates that may give you a hint? One of the other guys who knows old boats better than me will probably correct me. But it sort of looks like these:

Edit: I take that back. I just saw you location. What you have there is a Canadain model Johnson Deluxe.
