Re: Tinstock Accommodations Thread! LOOK!!!

I just called her, I was supposed to be, but I was not listed on her list of Tinstocker's.

I got in and made my VISA deposit. She only had 13 on the list.

16'Starcraft_StoneyCreek Yep you are in. I just talked to Martha my self. FYI for anyone on the list wanting to know she said they do not run your card till you check in or don't cancel with in the 48 hour period before the 25th of June 2010. She also said she has only five confirmations so far and that they are only going to hold the rooms for Tinstocker's until January 10th 2010. Better make them reservations before some outsiders take them.

Here is a nice google map that might interest some.

Jim I'm interested in checking out some of those spots:D

It's six months away though and I've got a lot of work to do first. Can't wait to check out Lake Anna, and the view of the docks full of Starcrafts of course:cool:

Bill,
My apologies! I somehow left you off the list. That would have made 15, but since we haven't heard from CBG, we still have one opening.

Also, I sure hope all the confirmed folks on the list get off their butts and make the reservations.

How about a repost here of the contact # and name..Hours of operation to call? Can I call now??? Yes..I am a slacker and too lazy to go back to the OG post..

PaulyV that's bing maps. I wish the birds eye was available for that area. Not sure how accurate I was on the placement I was just taking a guess on the boat slips and the INN and burger joint. Here is a nice google map that might interest some.

I am also going to bring down Canadian Beer!

That makes two of us...they would try to charge me "import" prices for Labatt's down in ol' Virginny otherwise.

(in Michigan we have free beer trade agreements with our friendly neighbors to the north;))

I tried calling at 7pm last night and couldn't get Martha to answer, will try again today:)

Same here...the lady said that we may not want to leave our boats in the slips though, she says it gets pretty rough and pulling the boats out each day for the night would be recommended since the launch is right around the corner.

I'm thinking that a properly tied rig would be fine though. Can't wait for June to roll around, here's hoping that all SC restos make it on time:D

Yeah the slips are not in a no wake zone. Still, a properly moored boat would be just fine:)

Any one else reserved yet? The 10th is rushing at us!
