i followed the other thread to the end. if it were me ide be trying to invoke a lemon law on the boat. seems like its falling apart on you and its in its first season. and was defective on delivery. i still wouldnt toss your lawyers number yet. thats just terrible craftsmanship what your dealing with. i didnt have that much trouble with the 1989 spectrum with a force outboard i got in 2004 form my uncle who was the at least second owner. and they are often called crappy entry level boats on this forum. i restored the wood floor (all under the ply is alum so no stringers to rot) and did a lil work to electronics this spring but its 24 years old and still going strong. that stuff shouldnt be falling apart on you like that.

I've had the boat out and am waiting to get out again. Had a lot of fun this weekend and I am getting better at getting it onto the trailer. The wind does effect this boat more at the dock than my old boat which sat much lower.
We took it out in the windy conditions and the 3-4 footers were no problem. It was a lot of fun coming back with the wind.
Although I bought a hose, the dealer mailed me out one so I returned the other. All I'm out is some time and trim oil but it beats waiting a month for the local dealer to fix it. And the speedo is working now that the hose is finally connected properly. The GPS is more accurate anyway.
This boat really moves with the 4.3. I can hardly wait to crack the throttle once the break in is complete.
