Re: The search for a free (or nearly free) Starcraft!
Nice work TGP, you have done very well with your $33

I'll need your first name TGP so I can add ya to the first posting.
Tim is my first name.
My 66' Nassau was free too! I paid $125 in scrap money for that one. Lucky , or a sucker for punishment. I'm not sure which. I now have 2 boats with no time for either one.
Howdy Brenn! Boy did you come to the right place!
Say a little bit more about what you wanna do with your new boat and how many passengers you'll have. That'll help folks narrow the search.
Also, this site helps you search CL a lot more efficiently (it's how I found my boat)

Just found another one that is in better shape than I am looking for possibly. But of course it sounds like this guy might not know the transom and floor are rotten, so maybe you could get him down under a thousand... but this is the exact SS I am looking for. My wife will leave me if I spend this much right now.

That is a sweet rig... I might have to investigate it closer. It's hard to do long distance like that. I travel for work so I can find an excuse to get up there maybe. What the best way to check the compression on an o/b, besides taking it out on a lake and giving it hell??
