We got the Mariner out late on Saturday, My wife and daughter did a marathon shopping day. My son and I worked on the boat prepping for some time on the water.

When the Admiral finally made it home at 8pm, she asked what's for dinner. I grabbed a fully stocked cooler and we headed out.

Not much boating, we anchored up to watch the sun set and ...

That looks fantastic! Nice pic!! Makes one wonder though if you took your picture and mixed it in with bgc's video directly above you'd have a darn big mess!

cnd - The lid would need to be closed if this were on bgc's boat. That looked pretty intense, I wonder what the following seas were like?

We went out on the 25th and 26th for a bit of Skiing and tubing...

May 25th, Lake Wissota, Chippewa Falls, WI. A wet weekend, but still managed to burn through a tank and a half of gas.

Wow at all of these good looking boats. It makes me that much more excited for when that time comes for me.
That sense of freedom to just cruise all over and enjoy the time on the water. Smooth cruising for all of you!

LL, how does she perform with the 50? Im assuming she's a rocket! I have a older 40 Johnson for mine, can wait to see how the combo works out! Yours sure is a beauty! I love the rake it has sitting in the water.

Thanks, fellas. The 50 is fantastic, I love it!

I had a problem with it over-revving at WOT and replaced the 15-pitch prop with a 17 and that solved my problems. Hole shot is insane, it really roars away. I have to borrow a GPS to see the actual speed, but it does feel like a rocket! Glad I held out for a 50.

South of highway 94, South of Beanies on the Minnesota side....as you head south of Beanies following the shore line..
just north of where the shore line hooks out a little bit...right in that hook area...where I caught the Gar....

I got the Bass and Drum on the Wisconsin side of the river across from the power plant in Bayport MN...
There is a little bay area with signs saying Private Harbor near the entryway ...between the entryway
(outside the Harbor) and the point....along that stretch of shore

Not quite a SC, but the whole family made it out for a afternoon sail on Lk St. Clair for Father's Day. Here is a pic of my daughter helping grandpa at the wheel.
