OK, this may not be much of a fish to you guys that have been fishing for years and have to have rocket launchers and downriggers (whatever that is), but is was a hell of a thrill for a guy that took 40 years off from boating and fishing.

I know those scaly, slimy things are fun, but this is what's it's really about.

First splash of the season last week. My power t&t was inop but other than that all systems were go.

Is the PTT motor working? Maybe needs just a bleed if it is.

Starman, I blew both of the small diameter hoses. I blew one, replaced it with a used one from the boneyard and then blew the second. I have since replaced all four with brand new lines. Next stop Lake Powell in May!

I posted a couple of vids earlier of us at green peter lake in sweet home Oregon, and decided that we would head back out their today, thankfully it was much nicer, but we were getting some strange looks due to our partially paint striped boat

Hey Guys,
I'm happy to see so many boats out there on the water already this year, I've read alot of these Starcraft rebuilds and it's really made me want one of my own so I'm planning on selling my Larson All American within the next month and hopefully I'll be have a post of my own Starcraft first splash of the year on this thread.

I'm happy to see so many boats out there on the water already this year, I've read alot of these Starcraft rebuilds and it's really made me want one of my own so I'm planning on selling my Larson All American within the next month and hopefully I'll be have a post of my own Starcraft first splash of the year on this thread.

Well guys I didn't end up getting a starcraft at this point in time, but I did still get a tinny. A 14 foot Lund with a 25 hp Johnson. So I don't think I'll be getting a Starcraft on the Water in 2012 but I've still got my eye out for a project I can take up. Thanks guys! I appreciate it! I painted the windshield, however do yourself a favor and leave it bare aluminum... Between last season and last Sunday I've already put a half a dozen scratches in it lol.

This is Sunday May 27th out on Lake Erie (Sandusky Bay) in the 63' Jet Star. Had a great day fishing in the bay we decided to venture out into the waves with her.....

We got the Mariner out late on Saturday, My wife and daughter did a marathon shopping day. My son and I worked on the boat prepping for some time on the water.

When the Admiral finally made it home at 8pm, she asked what's for dinner. I grabbed a fully stocked cooler and we headed out.

Not much boating, we anchored up to watch the sun set and ...
