Tundra you'll get there. I started about 3 months before you. We've both had some setbacks, but I think other than the motor yours is ready isn't it? You said when you got the boat you might have to replace it.

Had mine down in Ocean City, MD for a week. Unfortunately weather kept it on the trailer for most of the week but we did get a couple days of nice boating in.

bgc, do you have any other additional photos of your Jet? I am planning a "white & blue" theme as well and would like to see it on a boat first.

The entire boat is blue as painted by the previous owner, I am planing on painting the lower half white as seen in the sales brochure. Google Jet Star and look at the images.

jb- mine is a 1970 and I got it with the original paint (i assume)... "Bermuda Cream Hull, Pacific Blue Deck" - see the 1970 link on the Starcraft Brochures thread.



I re-did with Rustoleum Cobalt Blue Metallic on the deck and Rusto Gloss white underneath



relatively quick job with rattle cans and rollers but it works for me.

Vtstar- Thanks for the photos! Like a lot of others on here, it can be fairly difficult it invision the final result w/o seeing some relevant pictures ffirst. Thanks again, I look forward to seeing some new paint on my Jet!

BTW what size Merc hanging on the back? I have a Evinrude Lark Im planning on using and would like to get some feedback from others as to what they're using/ performance.

Warning! Don't let this guy tell you he's never ran a jet boat. Puget came up for a visit to his cabin, we met , had a nice visit, I showed him my toys, and we had a short trip on the boat. You'll have to get the other pics from him tho.

The York County extension of the Starmada had a gathering this morning before the Hurricane got here. It was very overcast but still and warm. Fun was had by all.

EZ - Nice pics of the York outing before the storm. Hope you all are safe and the boats are ok. I also love the "Beauty Queen" wave in your vacation shots.
