Launched at Kring Point SP on the St. Lawrence today and cruised around, did some snorkeling, and went to check out Singer Castle.

DADDY DAUGHTER WEEK

The mix of daddies and daughters has changed over the ten or so years this has been done

This year was North Frontenac Parklands - Crotch Lake for a little wilderness camping

More riotous fun on Crotch Lake

By buddy calls a maneuver that consists of circling the boat and waiting until the waves converge ,
then sending the unwitting victim through the confluence a "Mulatchie Crunch"

I think a "Mulatchie Crunch" is a wrestling move thrown by(or on) Bugs Bunny vs the "Crusher"

Behold a tube through the islands and then a kiddie version of the "Mulatchie Crunch"

This, my friends, is what it is all about...

First boat ride for our 13-month old grandson, Mason, between the consoles. SIL, Shawn Thomas barely visible in the bow to the left; daughter, April on the right; the Admiral, Wanda in the left seat and me driving.

This is how our SIL wanted to spend his birthday. Thank you Shawn Thomas. They surprised us by stopping by on their way home from vacation. We all had a great ride but the grandsom was the best. He stood most of the time; loved the wind in his face. It's hard to describe the feeling of peace.

The Starcfraft was wonderful, too. We had six people on board and had plenty of room with the 18' boat. 16 would have been a little cramped. 70 hp worked pretty well. We certainly didn't break any speed records. It ran 20+ mph WOT with the bimini top up which was perfect for this outing. My trim leaks down so keeping it trimmed was a challenge. I'll get that fixed at the end of the season.

Ok folks....this is the best I can do right now for my boat on the water pics. Turns out I could only go 20mph with full throttle. So, she's going to the doctor this week and have her carbs rebuilt. Hopefully get it back before Labor Day weekend

Got her out for the second time, but I've still got a lot of adjustments to make. She doesn't begin to compare with Bunkers tho. I may have to repaint mine again. One of these pics may be of interest to puget. And one we surprised a family of Bald Eagles bathing. Best pic was of the adult.

OUTSTANDING It relly does move in the water. Comeing your way late Sunday or early Monday I hate the Seattle traffic and highway. 2 is blocked by the DNR because of fires. pugetsound
