Viking.. I was at Pleasant. Did you go out this weekend? It would be cool to meet up sometime and check out each others boats! I'm thinking about getting out next weekend.

I thought that looked familiar!
I didn't make it out. Had some motor issues I had to fix. The plan is to hit pleasant Saturday morning this weekend and try it out.

Fantastic weekend on Lake Chautaqua - pulling skiers and tubers all day with no problems - the 17 pitch was perfect - no action photos but check out the color perfect red and black throttle handle behind my wife's hand!! -

Oh well - I am sure she will be SUPER excited to be on the internet!!

Finally got the boat in the water. Too bad my mechanic didnt actually fix anything.
Launched boat and all the same problems are still there. No change at all.
On the bright side at least now I know it floats.

Fun trip to a smaller, shallower section of the river on Sunday. Still found enough good water to run around in and to test out my wiring projects from the day previous. Details on that in my thread.

My second trip to Lake Raystown, the SS's first. I was concerned how she'd handle the BIG wakes being thrown around there on the narrow lake by the big boats on that lake but she handled it with aplomb. Prior to leaving I finally got my CL bow mount trolling motor that I've had for a year mounted. That thing is awesome! I think I've also been remiss in posting any pictures in my thread of my bow insert and fishing seat. I still haven't taken any formal, everything cleaned up, pics of the setup at home but these should give you the basic idea.

I am absolutely loving the setup. I did a couple hours of fishing by myself on Saturday night and Sunday morning and it was so nice being able to easily maneuver and position the boat with a touch of my foot. So cool! Yeah no fish pics. I caught 2 monster bass and one medium sized one on Saturday night but had forgotten my camera.

Pretty sweet EZ, that set up is the bomb. I will copy that, it would be perfect for muskie casting on Lake St. Clair, smallmouth too.

Ez,

Awesome setup. I caught a monster bass at Canyon Lake this weekend too on my SS but my camera froze on my phone, so I only got a picture of the smaller one ;-)

43 pounds. Moves the boat very well.

Here are some pictures from our family vacation in Maine. We had some great times with the Jupiter, until the piston skirt broke and craced the crankcase. I'm having it welded back together, and replacing one piston and rings. Hoping to get it back together before too long! See you on the water!!
