Ok - Been so busy that i haven't had time to keep up the thread.

New Motor and Outdrive in and working well. Had to troubleshoot thewiring, ended up getting the carb rebuilt - as well as the alternator - the old gauges don't work well - or I have them hooked up wrong - BUT motor purrs, everything shifts well, no leaks, no smoking, so phew! New battery too....The only thing left old is the HULL!

I had the excellent luck of finding a "side job" marine mechanic. I bought the drive from him and I worked with him in 2 sessions to mount, wire, and troubleshoot the drivetrain. He saved me weeks and billed me about $50-70 an hour. He had all the tools and knowledege - THANKS ED!!!

Managed to install the flooring today - Nautolex Shark....looks awesome and will hide everything, painted the "engine bay".

Soon, mount trim pump, battery, build doghouse, seats etc, I can see the end of the journey.!!

Got the doghouse and back seats in today.
I framed the whole thing up with PT and held the seats in place with Industrial Strength Velcro from Lowes - it is easy and I highly recommend it!

The Nautolex floor is awesome and I give it 2 thumbs up.
Building your own seats is a HUGE pain - they all came out great - but is is alot of detailed measuring etc.

I am bummed I won't be at Lake Anna this weekend but I haven't even put the boat in the water yet - although you guys could tow me in!

But too much travel lately and I am about 2 weeks from being really done

Take lots of pics!

As someone once said - combat operations have ceased - I'm pretty much done and moving on to just damn using the boat!

Here are some last pics:

Framing for seats -used Velcro to hold seats and doghouse down - works great:

Wow. Very nice. Almost makes me wish I had a Holiday....................I said almost.

Great color combination. The attention to detail is what puts it over the top. You can be very proud!

That is the Frozen Margarita Tap for the 12 volt freezer/mixer I installed under the port back seat - got it off ebay - they come up once in while.:p

Either that or the vent for the gas tank
