Seen it, and thought of you guys.

Lots of work for whoever tackles this project.

(but I do like the cuddy styled starcraft, chieftan?)

he is asking $1800
really $1600 in aluminum scrap?

I wonder how much they are really worth in scrap, I cant imagine they are worth that much as scrap. I see ads here all the time, saying they can get some high amount in scrap for it, and wonder if you can use it as negotiating tactic when you show them how much its really worth

reelfishin was considering scrapping one and a buddy of his actually did. It was a LOT. Like a grand or more.

Yah, that is the heart breaker on our old Starcrafts. They are often times worth more scrapped out than sold. Far more in some cases. Bummer.

I do think it's a regional thing though. It seems like certain areas bring more bux for the all mighty alum.

Sdride, Go get it! Alot of the hard work is done. It looks like he has old floor and transom for templates. That would scare the average buyer off but if you're cruising this forum...you've seen it done. Good luck

Ya Hoss is right... a good chunk of the dirty work is done. Im a cheapskate ..maybe talk em down some. Assuming all of the parts are inside the hull.

It would be a fun project if I did not have a newborn.... I hope someone picks it up for a great deal and brings it back to glory.

One of the helms is for the guys wife I'm sure..........of course we all know it has no cables behind it:)

I'm thinking if the Mrs is sitting on the port side, then that steering has a lower gear ratio, so it can typically override the starboard side.:facepalm:
