Forget the spray paint. In this case it starts with a saw. This poor thing is butchered. The transom is something else and the bow is cut back. What happened to the gunnels? $1800 - Too much whacky weed. :eek:

I don't think that I have seen many boats posted in this thread that somebody in the mob couldn't fix. I think that one is pretty much dead and gone though. I think it has been cut so many times it is beyond repair.

$1k isn't too bad but when you need an entire rebuild, total trailer rehab, and a new engine, that's gotta go a bit lower for just the hull basically.

My thoughts exactly. That'll be a mess to tear down, but at least its got a Mercruiser lower end.

Hmmmm. I wonder could I reinforce the transom on the 16ss enough to upgrade to the big horsepower dorm fridge, and then drop the 350 chevy omc out of the Stratos in its place.. Hmmmmm the possibilities are weighing on me.. Now the real question is can I talk the Admiral into that far of a road trip for another project..
