Yah, I talked to that fella when he first put it up. He wasn't really interested in moving it then.

I'd need him to run a half off sale to make it work for me.

26 foot and a V5 hull!!! wow.....but that 470???....go through some sand in the motor and get it half off!!!...youd get rid of that motor anyway ha ha ha

'57 16' for $3500.

Is this a "Speed Queen"?

I don't think so, w/ 3 rows of seats, and the way it sits in the pix, make me think it looks like it IS a 16ft'r like the seller claims.

Speed Queen was a 14ft'r.

Nice looking boat, but $3500...... IDK...

Not on craigslist, but found this one in a boat 'junkyard' in southeast michigan.
Its a Starcraft, but not sure of the year, maybe early 60's.

And it is currently being successfully leak tested!

Wow. I bet the plug is out, and dirt and moss are plugging the hole.
At least the mozzys are happy.

Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

Should have bought it at $400.

Depending on the model & how much 'remodeling' the past owners have made to it, and it's condition, $1250 on a rolling vintage trailer (also depending on condition) is not really out of line for a 1957 Feather Craft. Particularly if it's an early 'mini' under 13ft in length.

Bob: It certainly shouldn't be 'converted' into a duck hunting skiff, IMHO. Sorry Bob. Used w/ no significant changes, sure.

Cool: There wasn't any bong involved, as noted above, $1250 isn't really out of line.
JB thought youd like this oldie: 1957 Feathercraft Rocket Runabout bob

Yep, LOVE it bob.

Outta my price range...

Although the FC guys don't like them nearly as much as they do other models, I prefer the FC Clipper Deluxe:

Anybody looking for big vintage tin:

W/ the often 'lost' transom factory offset OB bracket:

I wonder if the batt insulation is factory:

Or flotation?

And is that plank wood flooring factory?:watermelon:

that thing looks military with the "blockhouse" looking windows. needs a .50 Browning on the bow...... and the bracket....??? did the owner just constantly steer to one side to compensate?

IDK, but the bracket was a proudly listed 'feature' on Cruisemasters, and it's usually missing......

That LS almost looks like a clone of PT-109. B2 is right, needs some 50's. The cabin is dance hall sized.

And bearings and bearing grease and trailer lights, too.

Maybe just bring a flatbed.
