I wish ole Ed would figure out it's time to drop the price. How long has he been trying to sell her? He says it been unused for "a few years", how long is that?

Actually, that fella has not even had that boat on the water. My take is that is that it's been sitting in a barn, getting bird dooked on for about a half dozen years now.

It still seems like someone would scoop that monster up for that price though...

Yah, a guy who is tolerable to the 470 that would be a real fair deal. I think if that boat had just about any other engine in it I would try to push the deal ya know.

Ok I have to ask. What is the problem with the 470? I'm successfully running the white leg. I've heard of alternator trouble? But beyond that what are the issues?

Yah, your Stringer and the 470 each unique quirks/issues.

Swing on over to the Merc Forum and search 3.7 or 470, plenty o' reading available!

An old 1965 Lone Star cruiser. Even still has the bracket, $2500 in Chattanooga.

21 footer engine does not run but parts are cheap and labor is free.
