Look like barnacles. Like the boat was on a lift, but not fully out of the water. Is the Housatonic tidal?

She appears to be a fairly nice Holiday.

to my knowledge its brackish. looks like a deal as long as Sandy didn't get a hold of her.

all the way tom the Derby dam!!, brackish is sorta right...more salt than you think.... if the Bigger dams up river and holding back the outflow to save for power generation, and you have a high incoming tide... you can get the salt front way way up river...Id suspect almost to the dam... on teh Hudson river the salt from pushes as far as Poughkeepsie in the summer, which is twice the distance up river as the dam is on the housy( i am guessing all this just from memory of boating both places)....fantastic fishing on the housy!
