Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

:eek::eek::eek: This is sad news.

I want to save her, I might be able to wrestle the guy to a reasonable price point, but how the heck to move her?

That, plus I would no doubt be fry panned completely to death, multiple times:fear:

It might cost more to move her than you would pay for her.

And multiple deaths by fry pan is guaranteed. In fact - A Lifetime guarantee. :eek:

If you're not good at evading the cast-iron skull crusher, tap into your entrepreneurial side ...there's a business opportunity once she's restored...Great Lakes Party Cruises!

I'd avoid bachelor parties... could get you into ALOT worse trouble than bringing a boat home :eek:

Had a long talk with this guy...

32 Foot Marinette Fisherman **Sell or Trade**

He's thinking about selling the engines and cutting it up for scrap. My heart might be bleeding a little here:blue:
hey its a real world out here.....hes got a hot potatoe that is worth more cut up than whole, OBVIOUSLY, because no one is coming and buying it...VERY few people are in the market for an aluminum yacht!!! he might wait 10 years to sell that thing for its worth...... I scraped out my old 165 hp block alone and got about $50 at the metal yard. then I got about $250 for all the parts I took off......no one would pay me $300 for the motor as was, that's for sure...and I sold cheap! the intake was mint once I took all the mice nests out of the inside... flywheel was mint as well.... bob

Yep, that Marinette is sweet. Jas, you know she'd make a pretty good live-aboard...which is just what you may be doing if you try to have her towed home. Is she water ready? :D

I'm at my boat limit too Jas. My wife has that voice that cuts right through me. I'd be nagged to death, or go insane and fry pan myself to death.

Next year, I'm getting a 15' Jet, and putting a 55 Bearcat 4 stroke on her. Bowectomy, side console (ala Jas), and use this for my Detroit River early spring boat. Just thinking. Of course that means one boat has to go...14' Sea Nymph, yep.

How many of you line up your next project before your current project is done? Have I come down with another illness? Projectitis or something.

I would hate to see a boat the seller says in bad shape. :facepalm: Yeah, I'm picky. :)

Yah, I called that guy just for fun. He said he wants $1200 for it, has a cracked block:rolleyes:

I told him it's probably worth half that. He then went on to sell me some giant fiberglass boat:facepalm: I pretty much ended the conversation there.

Are you picky, too? :laugh:
