The V5 was the boat I was going to buy but with the price and the rear section was hit and they placed the whole upper rub rail and transom end it with diamond plate and about 25 rivets.The side wall is pushed in about 4 ft from the transom forward could be fixed but not at that price.The trailer is good and all the tires need replaced before it could be moved. I have more pics if anybody wants them.

The other white and blue has a bad floor and he wants 5k for it and it's a outboard.

I keep searching for my 25 footer but there are just none on the west coast and if they are the are overpriced.
I might have to go to the wood side in a few years.
and build a Renn Tolman jumbo.

Ouch, $4500, for a 'new transom & deck' AND a 470...

Someone is going to be seeing visions of a 25ft SC Islander tonight..... And for the foreseeable future :cold: :blue:

I think he says kits are around 3k, depends on the type of plywood he offers two kind of marine plywood. The kit is for the hull and you build your own custom cab or leave the boat open. Of course you need all the expoxy fiberglass trailer and such.
He build a widebody open boat last year I can't wait to see it.
In the process of building a 28' great alaskan, think he planning twin 100 or 115 hp outboards.
I would like to build a great alaskan 24 or 26 with twin outboards, or inboard diesel. I can dream.
Would like a 25' cheiftain and put twin outboards on it, I can dream.

Well, I have had a chat with that seller. We're a long way off at the moment, still kinda kicking around a trade deal. That 470 in there is a major problem at that price. I know he thinks it's special. Rats.

You need Mobsters to look at it and under cut your price. Then you come in and do him a favor buying at your price and taking it off his hands. :) The danger is he gets tired of trying to sell her and takes one of the Mobsters low offers. :eek:

And flip it to Jas, at his price, for a profit. Storage, while he breaks Jen's resolve to prevent the BIGGIN' from getting in the yard, will be extra, of course. A whole house remodel may be required. Take ya what, a boat season or 2? :facepalm:

I can't even tow a 22' Islander w/ an I/O, so I can neither grab & hold her, nor steal her out from under ya.

Beer cans come to mind if the mob were to unleash a torrent of low ball offers......:blue:
