I am thinking the real 22 footers like the mariners and holidays were at least 22 feet over all ( when I measured the caps were not on the transom...which might add almost an inch) it is that people just call their boat a 22 footer?bob

When I saw the listing for my MR21, (that is clearly visible on the tag), I found it by searching aluminum 22. No mention of Starcraft or Mariner and it was 22' long :eyebrows:

This one sounds scary.

85 Starcraft center console trailer and motor. trailer is in good condition 88 evinrude 175hp ls motor has no spark (powerpack) center console is in good shape. Hull leaks but boat does float transom was cracked but is now secure

Sinking boats float until they don't anymore. Wonder how the cracked transom was secured?

Still same question, JB. Big, honkin' AL angle screwed into mulch isn't secured. And the mulch is the reason it cracked in the first place. It's bandaided at best.

It looks like there's angle on both sides of the transom......... but yeah, NOT secure was my ill phrased intent :facepalm:

Here's a chance to reverse Dozer's importing of tin to CA and bring one back home to the :usa2:. :lol: At current exchange rates 4000 CAD/OBO is 4065.20 USD/OBO. See how he's affecting the value of the US $. It's all his fault! :faint2:

All joking aside, A 25' Islander hardtop for $4K on either side of the border is worth a looksee.
