BIG ol tinny. AHH Trade???? Come on Jas this is you!
26 ft Starcraft islander "TRADE"

Ah man, I'd love that rig!

I have talked to that fella many times actually. We've kicked around a few things, haven't been able to come to common ground though.

I thought that one was a gonner as I haven't seen it in a while, good to see it pop up again.

I wonder if I should give him a hollar and see what he's up to?

do all the V5 hulls not have clappord shaped sides above the upper strake??? that 26 footer is a V5 and it is smooth above the high strake..bob here is one, a LITTLE on the high side, but I don't know how much the motor lifts the piece.... I was looking at putting a 445 lb 200 ocean runner on my islander!http://rochester.craigslist.org/boa/3696181185.html

As far as I know, V5 hulls do not have lapstrake.

That boat is sweet. My friend has the exact same one with an Evinrude 200 and it hauls. That price seems way high though.

2010 19' Karavan trailer & free aluminum boat!

ahh it hurts! I was so close to buying this last year and chickened out at the past minute. Needs some work.
CC191 sea nymph striper. 1000lbs dry, .100 aluminum, large beam and really high sides.

He wanted $450 for the boat only at the time, i agreed then decided my trailer amd 70hp were just to small.
Someone please buy this and take me out on it!

I wonder if he is serious about the boat being free, show up with a trailer and leave his trailer boat free... :)

Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

The "free" striper, he refused my offer of $1000 last year for the boat+trailer. He wanted $1450 minimum.
We settled on $450 for the boat only, I then changed my mind due to a few reasons.

Tell him his trailers worth gold without a boat on it and he'll prob give it away... This would be in my driveway right now if I didn't just buy the offshore v last week.

has a dent on one side of the bow, no big deal. Needs a few main rivets , transom wood appeared solid. floors unsealed 1/2 inch needs to go, the floor foam may be reusable. needs other tlc... I dream about it:blue:

Psst, boatnut, over here, down this dark alley: Here's something to keep both 'camps' happy :watermelon:
Of course the glassers will take her, the tinheads, yeah, probably not :blue:

Gotta pick up a motor this weekend, while I'm on that road trip, I'll swing by & look at 1 ^^^.... Mis-id'd as a 17'er though............
And of course: No trailer, no problem :)

Or at least not for me, the Admiral will most definitely strongly disagree........

Re: Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

The winter discounts are over, haven't seen a reasonable (deal) priced tinny around here in a couple weeks.:grumpy:

Even the guy with the 21' Lone Star (posted here last fall) that's been for sale for over a year raised his price back up to $1000 from $825.

Yup...now that spring has sprung, people are starting to get the boating/fishing bug...so seller's are hoping to take advantage of that fact.

I just listed the 16.5' Sea Nymph open bow I bought last week on Craigslist for $600 (no motor). I only paid $200 for it, but am hoping to get a premium for it now that boating season is just around the corner.
