This is a jetstream. We went to see it last night. The transom is totaled--the alunimum is bowing out, the trim is bent, and the splashwell is cracked because of the weight of the motor :facepalm:. The owner said the old mercury runs as he pulled the prop shaft right out of the lower unit to show us it needed a clutch-dog
. The steering cable is broken and the steering device on the motor is seized. He doesn't have the title. but he has three different bills of sale getting back to the last person who registered it
. It has a galvanized holsclaw trailer. He said he had an offer for $300 for the trailer alone (he should have taken it)
. We decided not to even offer him anything. He dropped the price to $250 as my brother and I were talking. I think he wants it gone. However, as we left he said $300 for the trailer and $200 for the Mercury. If you talk to him or his mom
may be someone could get the boat for free?!?
