I can’t wait to see what you do with this one!
It's going to have to wait for a while because my budget troll approved a used mini excavator and it's been hogging my attention.
I think a hard top would be a nice mod and maybe a bracket for the outboard. I often get inspiration from new boats that I like but can't afford at boat shows and in brochures.

If anyone is interested in side scanning sonars I have a neat picture of the hmcs Saguenay resting on the bottom waiting for divers to explore. Scuttled in 1994 of Lunenburg N.S. for a dive park.
Very happy with the Garmin Echo map. Also got a look at the Bluenose raising her sails.

The Crestliner Commander layout for fishing inspired the splash well.
Made reinforced filler pieces between the splash well and the gunnels to handle being stepped into.
One corner trim piece was missing so I made a pair to7 match.
REALLY nice work ! You definitely have a big pat on the back coming !

Thank you for the compliment. I started this thread in hopes that someone could get some ideas and inspiration for their own build.

Hey, you have it coming ! The fabrication on the splash well was absolutely necessary, there was no room for fuel and batteries, as it was ! Wonderful job !

I wasn't to see what you do with that islander!
Is that the 22ft or 26ft version?

My boat, (the green one, with the soft cabin) is a 1965 Starcraft Holiday , it's an 18 footer.
